Robert Buchanan, CEO/President

Bob provides strategic leadership for Criterion, setting long-term goals, developing key business relationships, and fostering the growth of the company. Bob has 40+ years of security experience in the public and private sectors. He is a member of the International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS). Bob has conducted risk assessments of over 50 major medical centers. He was a founder and principal with Corrections Partners, a private corrections company that ranked fourth in the world at the time it was acquired in 1995. Bob also served as a chief administrative officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Cindie Buchanan

Cindie Buchanan, Executive V.P., Administration

Cindie is responsible for directing and managing the human resources division of CSG. She is also responsible for Criterion’s marketing operations. She creates marketing materials, e.g., proposal, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, brochures, and more. Cindie is a nationally-recognized expert in security staff development and training as well as co-owner of Corrections Partners with Robert Buchanan.

Chad Killian

Chad Killian, Executive V.P., Investigations

Chad oversees business development and relations with our security partners. Chad’s background in corporate background screening is invaluable to our clients seeking comprehensive security solutions. Chad serves as manager for Criterion’s Pittsburgh region. He previously worked for International Investigative Services and Sterling Information Systems.

Tony Anuszewski, Chief Operations Officer

Tony provides practical security services leadership for Criterion. Tony manages all security operations, including Criterion’s field managers and supervisors. Tony’s diversified security career includes service with the US Army Military Police, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the International Peacekeeping Forces in Kosovo and Iraq and the contract security industry. Tony is a certified Homeland Security Specialist as well as a Community Emergency Response Team Trainer.

Brian Allen

Brian Allen, Director of Operations

In his capacity as Director of Operations, Brian oversees all security accounts, personnel, and operations, primarily in the Southeastern and Southwestern United States. He also works closely with sales and marketing, acquiring new business and ensuring the smooth start-up of new contracts. Brian has proven operation’s management skills, having served as Operations Manager and Branch Manager for both Central Defense and Dynamic Security. Brian is certified to train Taser deployment.
